A silicone braided hose is a food grade silicone hose reinforced with a polyester fibre braid between the inner and outer silicone layers. The braid provides higher burst pressure resistance, better kink resistance, and improved dimensional stability compared to plain silicone tubing — making it suitable for demanding pressure applications in food, pharmaceutical, and industrial environments.
Plain silicone tubing has no reinforcement layer. Silicone braided hose has a polyester braid embedded between the silicone walls, which significantly increases pressure resistance, reduces expansion under pressure, and improves kink resistance. For higher-pressure fluid transfer or peristaltic pump applications, braided hose is the preferred choice.
Our silicone braided hose is rated from -80°C to +250°C — wider than standard silicone tubing. It is compatible with steam sterilization, autoclave, dry heat, and cold storage applications
