When absolute security is essential, LOCTITE® 270 is a dependable solution. It provides maximum locking and sealing strength without the need for primers or surface activators. While the bond is designed to be permanent, disassembly is still possible by applying heat up to 300°C (572°F) and removing the fastener while hot.

LOCTITE® 638 Instant Adhesive

When you need a high-strength retaining compound that works reliably on all metals—including passive substrates—LOCTITE® 638 is a powerful solution. It delivers excellent performance at high temperatures, offers strong resistance to oils, and features a fast fixture time of around four minutes. With gap-filling capability between 0.15 mm and 0.25 mm (0.006″ to 0.01″), it ensures secure bonding even where slight clearances exist.

Thanks to its high-viscosity formula, LOCTITE® 638 is ideal for securing cylindrical parts such as shafts, gears, and pulleys. It also performs effectively in high-strength threadlocking and thread-sealing applications. The product cures reliably even in the presence of minor surface contamination, including industrial oils, and operates across a wide temperature range from -55°C to 180°C (-65°F to 355°F).
